Registered Massage Therapist
(Milandro) gratuated from Sutherland Chan School of Massage Therapy in 2011. He is registered with the Canadian Massage and Manual Osteopathic Therapist Association of Alberta. He believes in relieving pain symptoms through manual manipulation of muscles. He specializes in rehabilitative massage, deep tissue, joint mobilization, and relaxation massage for individuals from all different walks of life.
He is dedicated to continuing education to further improve his treatments skills.
Dr. Steingart started treating athletes while he was still a student at the University of Calgary. He was one of 12 students selected to be a part in two graduate level orthopedic classes and the care and treatment of the university’s various sporting teams. He worked mainly with the woman’s soccer and woman’s basketball teams.
After graduating from the U of C in 1991, Dr. Steingart was hired by the YMCA as a Strength and Conditioning Coordinator and volunteered at Calgary Youth Physiotherapy to aid in the treatment of kids who were injured playing sports.
In 1995 Dr. Steingart entered the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto graduating in 1998. Right after graduation Dr. Steingart was offered a position in Lima, Peru and quickly developed a reputation for the quick treatment and resolution of various sporting injuries. This started attracting more and more professional athletes to his practice, even members of Peru’s national soccer team!
Dr. Steingart returned to Calgary in 2001 and opened his own practice. The office grew very quickly and in 2006 Dr. Ron moved his practice to where it is now … the McKenzie Wellness Centre.
In 2013 Dr. Steingart received in Miami, Florida The Sports Medicine Physician Certificate, for the Management and Prevention of Sports Injuries. It also provides up-to-date information on the evaluation and treatment of medical illnesses and musculoskeletal injuries occurring in competitive and recreational athletes.
In 2019 Dr. Steingart has received training in Arizona by members of The Sports Medicine Team for the USA Olympic Games this has allowed him to continue maximizing the effectiveness of the treatments.
In 2020 Dr. Steingart completed the Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician course.
In 2023 an excellent year for Dr. Steingart. He received a Professional Award for 25 years of Service and was elected to the Board of Director of the Chiropractic Association of Alberta which represents over 1,200 Doctors allowing him to be part of the committee to go to the Alberta Legislature and meet with our Ministers to improve the quality of health care of Albertans.
